In this three-day workshop, we will explore storytelling through action, body language, and physicality.

Our focus is to bring “action” back into acting. In the program we implement physical memory in scene work, the fundamentals of physicality on stage, and how to utilize the entire body to tell the story.

You will tap into undiscovered creativity, create connections with like-minded artists, while building a new language together, a language that has never been spoken before.

The program has a physically rich curriculum based on Russian director and educator Sergei Ostrenko’s physical theater approach. Sergei’s program is a culmination of exercises stemming from Meyerhold’s Biomechanics, Konstantin Stanislavski, and Eugenio Barba’s theatrical theories.

Novices, experienced actors, directors, dancers, and choreographers are encouraged to apply.

No previous experience is necessary. Ages 15-75 are all welcome!
