About this event
The Metta World Peace Inaugural Golf Tournament is taking place in Southern California, at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena, CA on September 22, 2022.
The event will be an annual event benefiting Metta World Peace’s effort to lift & support youth. This year proceeds will go to Artest University (501c non-profit), committed to supporting the youth of underprivileged communities through sports activities, financial literacy, and mental health well being. The funding will help provide the XvsX Sports community mental fitness coaching & support.
In attendance will be advocates, influencers, and supporters from the community to draw greater awareness and impact in the mental health space. The tournament's aim is to create an annual tradition that will shed light on mental health solutions in a positive and playful way.
The Golf Tournament will be followed by live podcast taping featuring Metta World Peace, other Celebrity Guests, and mental health experts. There will be a silent auction with exclusive items for bidding, along with drinks and food to foster a deeper community connection.
