Description

Join us for a family friendly feeder ride to the Metro Bike Night event at Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. We will be riding along the Arroyo Seco Path as well as making a stop at the brand new L.A. Historic Park. Meet Los Angeles County's various bicycling, walking, and public transit advocacy groups at the event. There will be music, booths, raffles, and many other activities.

We will end the ride at Union Station. You can take the Gold Line back to the start.

Start: South Pasadena Gold Line Metro Station, 950 Meridian Avenue, South Pasadena

Route: 8 miles; Slightly downhill, one-way, point-to-point ride (with Gold Line return)

Date: Friday May 26 (4:30pm-7:00pm)

Timeline:

    • 4:30pm - Meet at South Pasadena Gold Line Station

    • 5:00pm - Ride depart

    • 6:00pm - Stop at L.A. Historic Park

    • 6:30pm - Arrive at Union Station

Experience Level: Beginner/Intermediate - Mostly flat, 8 mile route on low-traffic city streets.

What to Bring | Please Note:

    • A helmet is required; children 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    • Bikes with training wheels are not permitted, but children are welcome to attend if pulled in a trailer or on-bike child seat.

    • A Metro TAP card and one-way fare (or $3 cash or credit card to purchase one), if you would like to utilize Metro to return to the starting location. We will end the ride at Union Station. You can take the Gold Line back to the start.
