Dorian Wood (b. 1975, Los Angeles pronouns: she/her/they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a practice born from the desire to challenge traditions and systems that have contributed to the marginalization of people. Wood has performed at institutions, venues and festivals locally and internationally including The Broad, REDCAT, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and Pacific Standard Time in Los Angeles as well extensively internationally in Spain at Museo Nacional Del Prado, World Pride, Festival Cruilla and the City Hall of Madrid, and in Mexico City and Germany. Wood has released over a dozen recordings and is a recipient of the Creative Capital Award, an Art Matters Foundation grant, and the Loghaven Artist Residency in Tennessee.
