Description

Please join us for an in-depth panel discussion and overview of sexual assault and domestic violence resources for college students, the guidance of Title IX, and the nuances of various processes on a college campus.

This training is intended to offer insight and develop awareness of each resource that is offered and available to a survivor of violence and sexual assault - how it works, what it means, how it impacts, and, most importantly, how how it may feel for a survivor.

Our panel:

Olga Madrid, (Moderator), Bilingual Counselor and Advocate, The Center for Hope and Healing, Inc.

Dre Vargas, Community Organizer, LGBQ/T focus, Prevention and Education Team, The Center for Hope and Healing, Inc.

Elaine Gill, Detective Lieutenant, Merrimack College Police Department

Arelis Huertas, Director of Community Based Domestic & Sexual Violence Programs, YWCA

Deb Perry, Northeast Regional SANE Coordinator, Massachusetts Department of Public Health

Bohdan “Bo” Zaryckyj, Director of Student Conduct, Deputy Title IX Coordinator, UMass Lowell

Sponsored by NECCUM PEP - Northeast Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts Prevention Education Professionals
