The technique in which a marketing professional aspires to experience sincere and emotional connections with their target market

About this Event

Method marketing (similar to method acting) is a technique or type of marketing in which a marketing professional aspires to experience sincere and emotionally expressive connections with their target market by fully inhabiting the life of their customers. It is an emotion-oriented technique instead of classical marketing that is primarily action-based.

Beyond market research, beyond the voice of the customer and beyond personas, the goal of the method marketing professional is to experience first hand the emotions and drivers that motivate the individuals in their target audience.

In this 1-hour session you will learn:

  • What is method marketing and how is it effective?
  • 3 techniques to get inside the head and under the skin of your customers
  • The pros and cons of method marketing

  • The role of improvisation in method marketing
