Event description

Description

Join META (Multilingual Educators Transforming Achievement) and the Patterson Joint USD in a special professional development event focused on The Role Multilingualism in Achieving Global Readiness. Speakers include Dr. Milton Chen, Executive Director Emeritus of the George Lucas Educational Foundation and internationally recognized speaker and author, and Francisca Sánchez, two-time president of the California Association of Bilingual Education and author. Recently, the California Department of Education released its report on Global Readiness, so our topic is particularly timely for educators, and participants will receive a copy of that document. A hearty snack will also be provided.

All Others: $55
