Met Office Welcome Event

We’re pleased to invite you to the Met Office welcome event on Thursday 20 November.

We hope you’ll be able to join us, to meet and mingle with your current and new colleagues and find out more about some of the great facilities, groups and activities that the Met Office community offers.

Stalls will be set up from various departments within the Met Office, offering you a chance to ask questions and find out more, including stalls from Security, Gym and Biodiversity.

Due to building capacity, the event will be limited to 150 people. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis.

Don’t forget to book a desk on My Workspace if you want to work at the Met Office prior to and following the event.

We advise you to car share with colleagues or use public transport where possible, as we expect increased pressure on the car park.

This event will take place in the central atrium, 'The Street'.
