Event Details

Charlie Frias Park is a brand new 32 acre park in the heart of Las Vegas. Frias Park has wonderful views of Red Rock Canyon, and the Spring Mountains to the West and Sunrise Mountains to the East. The area's natural bluffs and rolling hills have been incorporated into the design of the park.


Join SCA and fellow Southwest Airlines employees, friends and family for a morning of volunteer service. Connect with the community, give back and enjoy the opportunity to restore and beautify Charlie Frias Park.



When: February 12, 2014. 9am to 12pm. Please plan to arrive at 8:45am to register. Projects will start promptly at 9am.


Where: Charlie Frias Park is located at W. Tropicana Ave and S. Decatur Blvd. Please meet at the North Plaza. Nearest Parking to the North Plaza is located off of S. Decatur Blvd. Additional parking is available off of W. Tropicana Ave. 4801 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89103. Park Map


What: Volunteers will complete a park-wide trash clean-up to keep the new park pristine.

What to Bring: Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Water and snacks will be provided.
