Come celebrate Israel's 68th Birthday in true Israeli style at the BIGGEST party of the year! We invite you to hop on the bandwagon with every other Israeli 20s and 30s and join in on "Beera Ve Nashira" (beer and singing) in true Israeli fashion. Picture sitting on a beach in Tel Aviv, around a campfire with beer, guitars, and friends for a jam out session with an American twist right here in Philly!
Enjoy your night that includes:
- live band & DJ & an A Capella performance
- dance floor
- quiet area for a relaxed environment and an outside patio (weather depending)
- Israeli snacks (hummus and pita) & a FREE Goldstar Israeli beer
Doors open at 7pm with your FREE Goldstar beer, a live band performance and an optional sing-a-long to kick off the night! And then we'll party with the DJ!
Your advance ticket buys you one vote for which charity will receive 100% OF THE PROCEEDS from the event! These charities are all funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. When you buy your advance ticket, you'll cast your vote for:
Yad LaKashish: Provides a freshly cooked, nutritious, communal hot lunch and a morning snack to low-income, elderly artisans in Jerusalem who are mostly immigrants and Holocaust survivors, who often struggle to buy and prepare their own food.
Tech-Career: Prepares the younger generation of Ethiopian-Israelis for employment in the dynamic high-tech industry through relevant military service with a focus on acquisition of professional skills.
Orr Shalom: Offers a broad range of programs tailored to young people of all ages - from newborns to college age - who are confronted with a wide variety of problems ranging from physical and mental handicaps to self-destructive behavior while also dealing with abuse or neglect at home. They are treated in a variety of environments and time-frames best suited to their individual needs - from group homes to individual foster homes; from short-term, emergency care for young people needing a refuge on short notice to long-term, intensive care for those confronting lasting problems.
Your $18 advance ticket includes one Goldstar beer, Israeli food and bar snacks, live music and DJ and a vote for which charity will receive all the proceeds from Mesiba. At the door, price is $25.
