Event description


Merritt College is hosting a week-long summer CyberCamp for middle and high school students, which features five days of no-cost introductory cybersecurity training.

Instruction is led by Merritt Community College Faculty. Training modules developed by the CyberPatriot Program

(CyberPatriot was conceived by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future).

Covers a variety of topics including: hacking prevention, system hardening, access control, and system protection.

The five-day program ends with team competitions and awards.

Monday thru Friday - 9:00am-3:00pm

Cost: Free Meals: Snacks and Lunch

Transportation is on your own (Parents, family, etc.)
Public Transportation to Campus: AC Transit
Parking is Free (July 31st –August 4th)
