Description

Headstand, forearm stands, handstands, oh my! Get your head toward the ground, and your feet toward the sky. Inversions are some of the most beneficial, yet feared postures that bring equilibrium to many systems of your body, especially your mind. Each posture will be explained and practiced to keep the integrity of alignment. Learn specific tips and tricks for accessing and holding inverted poses. By looking at our anatomy and how we engage in the poses, you will gain the knowledge and experience to safely and effectively practice a variety of inversions on your own, and in class, after this workshop.

Physically, inversions strengthen our arms, core, shoulders, and trains our body to work as a unit.

Mentally, going upside down teaches us the art of shifting our view point as we propel us past our fears into a whole new realm of possibility.

Join Lindsay for a unique yoga workshop that’s designed for all yogis curious about working on alignment and holding of these inversions, as well as for experienced yogis to work on next-level variations and transitions. No inversion experience is necessary. You will leave feeling more confident and educated about enhancing your inversions practice than you did when you walked in the door.
