Meriden Youth Services is hosting an educational workshop on money management for teens. Teens will be informed on building a budget, opening a checking account, using direct deposit, understanding the parts of a paycheck, and what it means to have “credit”. Understanding a paycheck along with managing money can be very difficult and crucial for a teen entering the workforce.
This event is FREE and open to all Meriden youth between the ages of 14 and 19. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Parents are welcome to attend. You do not need to print your ticket in order to attend. This workshop is one of many in a series of workshops to help Meriden youth gain valuable skills to help them get a job.
