Mercy Health Partners' Student Athlete Heart Screenings
The cardiovascular pre-participation athlete screenings attempt to identify any pre-existing heart conditions that could potentially increase a student's risk of vigorous physical activity and/or athletic competition. Student Athlete Heart Screenings are a six-step process that take place at Mercy Health Partners' Hackley Campus and are completed in approximately 15 minutes:
Station 1: Check in
Station 2: Healthy Heart Check History Questionnaire
review and blood pressure by mid-level provider
Station 3: 12-lead EKG
Station 4: Physician examination and EKG review
Station 5: Echocardiogram (if indicated)
Station 6: Check out
We'll contact you first when more dates become available.
All sessions are held from 6:00-9:00 PM. Please sign up for a specific time slot from the drop down menu.
