Event description
Meraki (μεράκι), the passion for craftsmanship and the essence of your creative soul is hungry for new fuel!

About this Event

We are excited to invite you to the first edition of Meraki (μεράκι), a workshop that will bring the world of Yoga and Abstract painting together. μεράκι, the passion for craftsmanship and the essence of your creative soul is hungry for new fuel!

By combining these two worlds, we aim to give you new tools to express your inner-self and creativity. We want to feed our right side of the brain, always passionate for vivid colours, movement and imagination. In this first edition we will explore the potential of primary colours: those that are the essence, the base that cannot be created by mixing others.

We will start with a guided meditation that will awaken your creativity by exploring your breath and movement. Through yoga, Giuliana will make you slow down over-thinking mind and give full potential to your self-expression. This path will let you experience art making in an open and mindful way.

From this state of deep relaxation, we will move to the canvas instead and give shape to your emotions through an abstract art session guided by Bea and Anna. By staying present to your breath you will discover a less guarded, less self-conscious process of experimenting with charcoal and acrylics.

Take a journey into your body and mind, then let this energy flow onto the paper through colors, shapes and movements.

> Who are we?

Anna and Bea, who will be guiding the painting session, come from an architectural and lighting design background. They have been sharing the passion for painting since years, focusing on abstract and semi-figurative painting.

@GiulsYoga aka Giuliana is a passionate Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, with a great interest in how practicing yoga and meditation positively affect our creativity. She will lead you through a deep and slow yoga practice designed to clear the mind and stimulate our creative centers.
