This year’s spring MERA 2023 conference theme will focus on rural, suburban, and urban educational spaces. Conference presenters will help participants deepen their understanding of each of these three spaces and how they impact communities and school systems. In the past, these three spaces were distinctively different from one another. However, that has changed primarily due to a shift in demographics over the past decade or two. As a result, this shift has created new issues and opportunities for many districts.

This conference will offer information that will help educators respond to these changing identities by identifying and implementing high yield strategies/initiatives/programs and resources that can positively shape communities and school systems to enhance teaching and learning.

In addition to gaining additional knowledge of the three educational spaces, attendees will also receive updated information and resources on assessment, accountability, and a new comparison tool that can be used to support your organizational improvement efforts. Hope to see you at the conference!
