About this event
January is National Youth Mentoring Month! Join Falmouth Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands (BBBS) as we team up to raise awareness about the need for volunteer mentors for Falmouth youth.
The joint event, Mentoring in Falmouth, will take place on Thursday, January 19th from 5:30-7pm at Bucatino in N. Falmouth and will feature appetizers (provided) and a cash bar. Current mentors, alumni mentors and staff from both VIPS & BBBS, will be on hand to answer questions and talk about opportunities to mentor youth in a school setting or in the community. Information will be provided and a brief 10 minute speaking program highlighting mentors from both agencies will round up the night.
We encourage everyone connected to Falmouth, who has considered becoming involved in their community, to attend this event. You are never too young (21+ for this event) or too old to be a mentor. Kindly RSVP to this Eventbrite for an accurate count for food and beverage.
