Event description
Participants will learn about the mental health needs of students and how trauma and adverse experiences impact learning.

About this event

In this intensive 3-day professional development opportunity, participants will learn about the mental health needs of students and how trauma and adverse experiences impact learning. Participants will leave with practical knowledge of trauma informed care and will be ready to implement SEL practices into their own classroom environment.

Location: Online

Schedule:

Day 1: Monday, October 25, 2021, 8:30am-4:00pm CST

Day 2: Monday, November 15, 2021, 8:30am-4:00pm CST

Day 3: Monday, December 6, 2021, 8:30am-4:00pm CST

Continuing Education:

CEU: 22.5 Contact Hours

3 Graduate Credits for an additional cost of $120 ($40/credit).

Students will be expected to complete 22.5 hours of face-to-face instruction & 22.5 hours of independent study to receive graduate credit.

*Graduate credit registration must be completed by 11/01/21. A link to apply and pay for graduate credits will be sent to attendees after registration payment is received.
