Mental Health First Aid

Similar to First Aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid teaches individuals how to help those experiencing mental health challenges.

Why Mental Health First Aid

Mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, psychosis and substance use are very common in the United States. More than one in five American adults will have a mental health problem in any given year.

Identified on SAMHSA’s National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices, The National Council for Behavioral Health certifies individuals to provide Mental Health First Aid to prepare communities with the knowledge and skills to help individuals developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

For more information, visit www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org.

Registration opens 6 weeks prior to the event.

Participants must attend entire workshop to obtain certification

BBSE & BRN CEUs available upon completion

Refreshments provided by YES Center Catering.
