Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour, skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use disorder.

Training Highlights:

-Mental Health First Aid aims to increase mental health literacy and help participants develop the skills and confidence to respond to a person in crisis.

-Interactive activities that teach participants how to intervene when a person is going through a mental health crisis

-Stigma reduction around mental health, through mental health education

-Identification of community resources to promote healing

-Topics covered - Depression and Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, Psychosis, Substance Use Disorders, and more...

After registering:

A zoom link and access to the online learning platform will be sent out a few weeks before the training date. Be on the look-out.
