Description

Mental Health First Aid is an evidenced-based, eight-hour training that provides a general overview and basic skills to identify, understand, and respond to mental health and substance abuse issues.


By the end of the training you will:
• Understand the prevalence and impact of mental health challenges.
• Identify symptoms, possible risk factors and warning signs of depression, anxiety, suicide and psychotic disorders.
• Be able to implement the five-step Mental Health First Aid action plan.
