Description
Mental Health First Day is a Metrowide event to promote Mental Wellness in Kansas City. Each of the 7 Community Behavioral Health Centers providing services in Metropolitan Kansas City will be hosting a Mental Health First Aid Training.
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The one day, 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Kansas City, KS - Wyandot Behavioral Health

Parkville, MO - Tri-County Mental Health
Note: Host site will communicate directly with attendees prior to the event on matters regarding the training day, and to confirm in case of rescheduling due to inclement weather (reschedule date will be February 21, 2020). Lunch will be provided to attendees at each location, please notify host of any dietary restrictions.
