About this event
Why Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
How Blended MHFA Works: 2 hours of online self-paced coursework followed by a scheduled 5.5 hour IN-PERSON Instructor-led class (6 hrs including breaks).
What it Costs: 23.95 per participant, $50.00 for 7.5 CEU's ( LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT and Psychologist)

- Online Participant Processing Guide and resources
- 3 Year MHFA certification 7.5 CEU's (LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT and Psychologist) for a $50 Fee
3 weeks prior to the in-person instructor led session, you will receive an email titled "MHFA: Let’s get started!" that will contain log in information and steps that need to be taken to complete your pre-work. This pre-work needs to be completed 24 hrs prior to the In Person Instructor led portion of this course
The In Person Instructor led portion of this course will be held on Thursday, January 19th from 3:00pm-9:00pm at Elmhurst Hospital located at 155 E Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126
