This event will recognize community members for their outstanding service to mental health care in our community.

About this Event

On April 17, 2020, Mental Health America of Monroe County is holding its First Annual Fundraising Gala and Recognition Dinner at the Bloomington Convention Center. In addition to recognizing members of our community who exemplify our mission by providing outstanding service to and advocacy for those dealing with mental health issues, we will also be celebrating the many roles played by all of us in promoting good mental health and providing support for those in need. Many opportunities to network and collaborate with MHA's current projects, goals, and community efforts will be available. We look forward to a memorable night with attendees from many different professions, all brought together by a common belief in the importance of mental health in our community.

The evening’s program will include an update on MHA-MC and Monroe County Suicide Prevention Coalition initiatives, a recognition ceremony honoring nominees in six different categories, and a keynote address by IU Chief of Police Jill Lees. You will be treated to a great buffet dinner with a complimentary drink ticket, a cash bar, a fun raffle and music for dancing.
