Colt is a Colorado transplant from Texas who has been working in the recovery field for eight years. His experience started as a house manager at a sober living community while playing music in a recovery band. Moving to Colorado was motivated by a position at an adolescent residential treatment center where a passion for helping teens developed. Colt’s work has included milieu counseling, admissions counseling, lead therapist, and program director of a non-profit adolescent early intervention program in Colorado. Colt is a storyteller and has lectured more than 1,000 times about substance use in schools across Colorado. In the position of clinical outreach associate, Colt focuses on fostering meaningful relationships with our neighboring agencies to help young people and families find wellness.
