Love Not Blood Campaign, www.lovenotbloodcampaign.org, presents an Impacted Men's Conference titled "Empowering Lives Building Resilience" Men who have been impacted by police violence or community violence or impacted by this racist criminal justice system. Men will share their strength and challenges of the trauma of losing their child to police violence or communal violence, or how the criminal justice system affected and empowered them to go from "Pain to Purpose". The conference focus on empowering these fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, and men on how to recover from tragedy, trauma, risks, and stress.

Every Impacted Man has a story…. Sometimes it’s the wound that is unseen that hurt the most. They can affect mood, thoughts, and behavior, yet these wounds often go unrecognized and unacknowledged.

If you feel inspired to reinvigorate healing and resilience in an Impacted Men of Violence, your presence will be greatly appreciated. Men's are welcome, but please RSVP to secure your entrance. This is a FREE conference

Most importantly, bring a YOUTH-- There will be a youth workshop

During the conference, men will:

  • Participate in a specially designed Mental Health workshop to deepen their understanding of tragedy, trauma, risks, and stress on health
  • Participate in intimate conversations with leaders representing Impacted fathers, who have turned their “Pain to Purpose”.
  • Understand the protective conditions that can be implemented to reinvigorate the resilience we have within.
  • Learn how unrecognized and unacknowledged post-traumatic conditions can affect mood, thoughts, and behavior
