Life is difficult. We have many demands for our time and often we feel we must compromise. We are sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, business leaders, volunteers, church members… the list goes on and on. Each of these roles seems to demand 100% of our time. And then, of course, we are disciples of Jesus Christ. And Christ teaches us, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple" Luke 14:26. Charlie Paparelli, entrepreneur, angel investor, and most importantly, disciple of Jesus Christ, will share his journey with us and help us to realize that we don’t have to compromise.

• Charlie Paparelli Bio: Charlie Paparelli began his career as a professional angel investor in 1993 and he’s invested in over thirty-five Atlanta startups over the last twenty-five years. He shares his experience with angel investors and entrepreneurs in a widely followed blog at www.paparelli.com. Charlie got his start as an entrepreneur in a vertical market software company back in the go-go years of minicomputers and the PC. He built a career as a general manager of software companies and eventually moved into executive management. His love for entrepreneurs and the excitement of startups brought him to angel investing. His angel career is a mixed bag of a few great exits and some startups that just didn't make it, however, a few wins made all the difference. Charlie is very active in the Atlanta community. He served as Chairman of High Tech Month, President of B&TA and the Technology Executive Round Table, and Board member for the Southeast Software Association and the founding board of the Technology Association of Georgia. He is currently President of the Atlanta High Tech Prayer Breakfast and member of Church of the Apostles. He’s been happily married to his wife Kathy for over forty-one years. They have four children and three grandchildren.

Men can gather for coffee at 6:45 AM. The Catered Breakfast by Gourmet Innovations begins at 7:00 AM and Charlie Paparelli will speak at 7:30. $10.
