Event description

Description

We all know that there is definitley a need to mend bridges between Africans & African Americans. Given the current racial tensions within the USA, Mending the Bridge™ between Africans and African Americans is a community/educational forum with a mission of healing the divide between the two groups.

In this particular forum we will address the continued disunity within these communities, the root cause of the division and come up with solutions on how to mend this bridge.

The part one of this forum will consist of a panel of four (4) people: two (2) African-Americans and two (2) Africans from the continent who have knowledge and experience within this particular field. The program will be broken into a 3 part series.

Come ready to eat some great appetizers, mix and mingle and have meaningful conversation that will broaden your perspectives!

This program is made possible by: Mending Bridges, in partnership with the City of Houston & Young African Professionals.
