Memorial Muster 2016
The innaugral Memorial Muster 2016 is about honouring, preserving and raising awareness of grave sites of NSW police officers killed on duty & historically significant sites of NSW Police Force through a fun car Rally.
Participants will be encoraged to visit the memorials to officers killed on duty before meeting at Mount Panorama Bathurst for a BBQ and catch up.
The primary objective of the first year is to direct funds towards the identification, care and maintenance of grave sites and memorials that have fallen into disrepair, particularly those graves of significant age that are no longer being tended to.
In what is hoped to be an annual gathering, the Muster is intended to be a casual & fun event, open to all ages, held in a secure environment in the Regional NSW town of Bathurst within a District that is rich in policing history.
