Memorial Day Block Party: Three Generations of Go-Go Crankin! Feat Tittsworth's new Project "Reagan Bombs"

On Saturday May 28, One Love Massive is returning to Union Terminal to present the Nation's Capital with three generations of funk and have one of the most incredible evenings in the city's recent memory.

By doing this, we'll prove once and for all that when you give the people both what they want and what they need is when you make dreams come true.

​A few months ago, we received a message from our friend and DC dance living legend Tittsworth that he had worked alongside some very special collaborators and combined go-go's funk with techno's dark grooves into a concept called Reagan Bombs. On May 28, he debuts this magical fusion of again, everything you want blended with everything you need.

The "A Team" go-go all-star crew of Experience Unlimited's Sugar Bear, Northeast Groovers' K. Chris, Smoke and Stomp, former Familiar Faces member Kalel and Dwayne Lee of Godisheus are likely to provide access to so many legendary go-go moments. If looking to hear "Da Butt," "Booty Call," "The Water" and many many more epic songs that are key to the fabric of what makes DC uniquely DC, you'll be in the right place.

Also, the funk shamen known as Nag Champa will do their thing, that mystical thing that's growing in renown across the city. Packing a sound that feels like everything you want from jazz and soul, mixed with everything you ever needed from Sun Ra, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and more, they fit well into what's being delivered on the 28th.

As well, the triple team dream of jheri curl funk, champagne soul and lazer boogie known as Axel F -- DJs Jahsonic, Stylus and Adrian Loving -- will bring their potent blend of selections including old school b-boy style, proto-techno, early jack-your-body house, Latin freestyle, bubblegum pop, and the classic go-go of the Nation's Capital.

It's a lot that dead ends backing up to NY Ave and to the west of Union Market. Follow the address to 300 Morse Street than keep walking back. Parking is first come first serve throughout the area, you will not be able to park on Morse Street.
