Memoir Writing Workshop 6 Wednesdays
Wed, April 26, 2017, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
Spring is the season of new beginnings, and a perfect time to focus on your writing. Via in-class writing prompts, you’ll learn how to craft scenes, hone your voice, write believable dialog, and choose sensory details to engage your readers' senses. We’ll also explore paths to publishing in the many venues currently available.
Instructor C. Flanagan Flynn is a writer and editor who holds a M.A.L.S. from Wesleyan University. Over the past decade, she’s participated in dozens of writing conferences at Harvard University, Trinity College, Mount Holyoke College, and Bay Path University. She was recently selected to participate in The Slice Literary Conference in Brooklyn. She’s been published in The New York Times Op Ed and featured in The Hartford Courant. (Forthcoming publication in Brain Teen Magazine, a division of the award-winning Brain Child Magazine.)
