Saturday afternoon we will host a wildlife tracking tour with local experts, Pathways for Wildlife.

DOGS

Dogs are allowed (they are family after all) but must remain on leash at the Great Meadow and in the camping areas.

CAMPSITE INFO

The majority of campsites can accommodate 1 VEHICLE and either 1 LARGE TENT, or 2 SMALL TENTS, with up to 5 PEOPLE per campsite.

Extra vehicles will have to park in the overflow parking area, about an eighth of a mile away from the campsites. NO RV’S OR TRAILERS. Tepuis or similar rooftop tents are OK.

4 CAMPING OPTIONS

  1. TENT/CAR CAMPING in the Great Meadow. A NOTE: Albeit a convenient location (portable toilets and friendly, helpful staff nearby), the Great Meadow will serve as the hub for all activities. Activities will be in a separate area of the meadow. Quiet hours: 10pm-7am.
  2. TENT/CAR CAMPING in Girl Scout Camp. A NOTE: A little more secluded, this area can accommodate approximately 6 campsites and is approx 1/2 mile from the Great Meadow
  3. BACKPACKING sites at the top of Oak Road and along High Point Road. Hiking distances vary from 1 to 3 miles. A NOTE: no cars are allowed to drive to the backpacking sites. You must hike all of your gear in. Leave no trace info here.
  4. GROUP SITES that can accommodate up to 20 people each. There are only 2 available, so please only sign up for them if you have a large group. A NOTE: every fifth person must be a member.
