The Orbits are a collection of local musicians who have played together in different bands for years. The bass/drum engine of the band is Pat McCool and Mike Dendy, friends since their days at Huntsville High. Mike is one of that rare breed that sings as great as he drums. Charlie Howell, frontman and guitarist for the Snake Drs. pairs with the legendary Jim Cavender to round out the sound. Bringing years of love for everything from country to rock to soul to New Orleans sounds, the four friends have a great time together making good music. You never know what you will hear but you better be ready to dance!
