MELSIG - Social Media for Learning #1
Event Information
Description
Social media for learning continues thinking from previous recent MELSIG activities on smart devices for learning and open learning environments. The special focus asks us to consider the transformative potential of social media and how it promises to change the relationships between teachers, learners and others. The day will address questions like ‘what counts as social media?’, ‘who controls it?’, ‘what opportunities and challenges does it create?’
MELSIG has invited presentations from innovators at Liverpool John Moores, the region and further afield. As it usual at MELSIG events, the day is designed to hear from all those who attend too – in discussion activities, in delegate short presentations and through social media of course!
