Melinda Myers, known for her friendly and practical gardening advice, is an award winning, nationally recognized gardening expert, TV/radio host, author & columnist. She will share with guests her love of gardening and how you too can plant and enjoy your own food for health and wellbeing.
Myers has 35 years of gardening experience and a master’s degree in horticulture, and has authored more than 20 gardening books, including The Midwest Gardener’s Handbook and decades of garden columns published in hundreds of newspapers and magazines, including Birds & Blooms. As host of The Great Courses “How to Grow Anything” DVD series and the Melinda’s Garden Moment TV & radio program she inspires gardeners throughout the country.
Myers, a 5-star rated speaker, also presents at flower & garden shows throughout the U.S. each year. Prior to her current work, she hosted “The Plant Doctor” radio show for over 20 years and seven seasons of “Great Lakes Gardener” on PBS.
