An urban version of the acclaimed Deerubbin Conferences held on Milson Island
Conference Friday 10 and Saturday 11 February - all day, conference at the National Gallery of Victoria, Clemenger Auditorium. Open to the architecture profession, students, and interested others. Each day 9.00am – 6.00pm.
Special guest speakers :
Marina Tabassum (Bangladesh), recipient of a 2016 Aga Khan Award for her Bait Ur Rouf Mosque in Dhaka.
Niall McLoughlin (Ireland and UK), recipient of the 2016 RIBA Charles Jencks Award for an architect 'who has recently made a major contribution internationally to both the theory and practice of architecture'

Social events – social evening events Friday and Saturday are included in the conference fee
Mosque visit Sunday 12 February – included in the conference fee. Morning visit by all conference delegates to the Australian Islamic Centre and guided tour by Glenn Murcutt and collaborating architect Hakan Elevli. Coaches depart from the NGV at 10.0am and return to the NGV arriving about 2.00pm
