Be Part of the Light!

Join Melanin In Motion and Venture Bikes for a joyful Sunday afternoon of community art-making, storytelling, and connection—as we help shape Light on Lake, a stunning new public art experience that will illuminate East Lake Street this winter during The Great Northern Festival.

You'll meet the three featured artists—Boo McCaleb, Erica E. Warren, and Rachel Quast—and co-create artworks and ideas that will inspire the final projections shown during the four-night Light on Lake event in January 2026.
