UPDATE 4/16: released a few more Full Weekend Passes today after realizing we had a bit more space YES!
In 2009 we infiltrated Cambridge MA, and in 2010 Baltimore. Then we fell asleep and holy crap, it's 2013. But hear us now, April 19-21, 2013, we're claiming THE WORLD, starting in and around the New School in NYC. Things will never be the same.
If you don't know what to do, it works like this: BUY A PASS. (And if you're from New York State, see the bolded stuff below). In case you're wondering, we be PayPal Verified til tha breakabreaka dawn.
Here are your options:
Regular Weekend Pass. This will get you into all daytime festival-related events from 2pm Friday to late Sunday night. "Daytime" means until 10pm on Friday 4/19, until 10pm on Saturday 4/20, and until 10pm on Sunday 4/21. (This includes a show at 206 Lounge at 6pm and at another at CultureHub at 8pm that Sunday). You also get free admission into MEGAPOLIS Celebrates Localore: the After Party, which is happening on Saturday 4/20 at Drom from 11pm until 4am. Think we don't love you? Friday evening 4/19 is extra and some daytime RSVP sessions are too, which we cover below.
Student Weekend Pass (ONLY IF YOU ARE A CURRENT STUDENT - prepare to show us that current ID when you pick up your badge at registration). Same access as a Regular Pass, including to Drom on 4/20 for those who are 21+.
For GROUPS larger than two, please email contact [at] megapolisfestival.org and state how many tickets you are interested in and we'll let you know what's available.
RSVPs. After you buy a pass, you can RSVP for additional fun stuff. In the three workshops that cost extra you're paying a materials fee in order to make something awesome and take it home with you. The other RSVPs are free because they are space-limited workshops, so go ahead and book a spot while you're lounging around here.
The 2013 MEGAPOLIS Festival is made possible in part with public funds from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
