It is our pleasure to invite you to the NIH MEG-North America workshop. This meeting is intended to bring the North American MEG community together, to foster collaboration and synergy across laboratories. In order to best accomplish this, we wish to charge the attendees of the meeting to address the following four questions:
What does MEG add to the field of neuroscience above and beyond other existing techniques?
How can we support the evolution of MEG acquisition and methods, through both software and hardware?
How can we develop and support infrastructure to share data and facilitate big science?
How could an MEG-North America consortium work to address these issues?
Keynote speakers include Sylvain Baillet, of the McConnell Brain Imaging Center at McGill University, Dimitrios Pantazis, of the Martinos Imaging Center at MIT, Timothy Roberts of the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania, and Julia Stephen, of the Mind Research Network.
The workshop will feature moderated panel discussions, didactic morning sessions for those new to the field, aand a forum for lab directors to discuss the research being done at their site, to facillitate collaboration and provide a resource for student attendees. There will also be a scientific poster sessions where attendees can showcase their latest findings.
