About this event

Join us for an industry briefing session over breakfast on Thursday 6 October in the Miss Morgan private dining room at The Victoria Hotel.

In November 2021, the Commonwealth Treasury released amendments to the Consumer Data Right Rules to expand the Consumer Data Right (CDR) to the energy sector. From October 2022, product information will be shared to facilitate better comparisons of energy plans and from November 2022, the first set of energy retailers will begin sharing energy data. This industry briefing session presents an opportunity to connect as a sector to discuss some of the opportunities and challenges currently being faced in relation to the complex and rapidly changing CDR specifications.

We will be joined by Mark Perry, Chief Customer Officer at Biza, to help lead a discussion around CDR and how they relate to the energy industry, touching on:

  • An introduction to CDR and its relevance in the Australian energy sector
  • Key use cases of CDR in the energy sector, including their journeys and what made them successful
  • Lessons learned along the way
  • Tips for energy executives starting their CDR journey

We hope you are able to join us over breakfast for a thought-provoking and best practice discussion as to the potential implications of CDR on your business, your customers and the wider energy sector.

This is a small gathering with limited space, so please RSVP by Thursday 6 October to reserve your spot.
