Briefing: How Can California Close its Looming Health Workforce Gaps?
Final Recommendations of the California Future Health Workforce Commission, highlighting Behavioral Health

As California continues to lead the nation in its efforts to expand access to health care — and make coverage more affordable — the California Future Health Workforce Commission released a report in February outlining a comprehensive plan for ensuring the state’s health system has enough qualified professionals to support and provide the health services Californians need.

Join us in Los Angeles on March 21 for a briefing on the Commission’s 10 priority recommendations, a $3 billion plan over ten years to:
  • Address looming health workforce shortages already affecting health access, quality of care
  • Train a new generation of health workers who reflect the diversity of California
  • Fully eliminate projected shortfalls in the field of primary care—and nearly eliminate shortages in psychiatry

Lunch & parking provided.
