Whether you were trained recently in Denver, or long ago and need a refresh, come join Meet Up #11, the Climate Reality Presentation Boot Camp to help you build skills as a presenter.

Recent trainees had a fantastic experience and are no doubt very excited about getting started on Acts of Leadership. I remember coming back from my Chicago training in August 2013 incredibly inspired, but at the same time very concerned how I would master the complex material well enough to stand in front of an audience to present it within 30 days. How should I trim down Al Gore's 400+ slides into my own 45 minute presentation? Was I allowed to add some of my own slides? What audiences should I seek to get started? How should I market myself? And how would I handle tough questions from skeptics?

It seemed overwhelming all of a sudden.

The good news is that I struggled through it and survived. My first several presentations were far from perfect and I made many adjustments and improvements. While I could think of only 5 audiences to target before getting trained, I ended up speaking 16 times in my first year, and recently gave my 68th talk last week to Miller Creek 8th Graders in San Rafael. I enjoy giving Climate Reality presentations as much as ever and want to share key tips and tricks to help you be as successful as possible in the least amount of time. Experienced presenters Gary White and Steve Richard will join me to share their tips as well.
