Meet the Women of Entrepreneurship
At TCVN's Oct 25th Forum
Women entrepreneurs have pulled in almost $775 million in funding so far this year, with a good portion of that over the summer.
This has already been an important year with a mother-to-be appointed to lead a major company like Yahoo and women put on corporate boards in record numbers, but it’s the women entrepreneurs who are changing the world as we speak.
Even with incredible strides, a 2009 study by Dow Jones VentureSource found only 11% of companies that received venture funding had a woman CEO or founder. In fact, recent research by Cindy Padnos, managing director at Illuminate Ventures, shows that high-tech companies built by women are more capital-efficient than average, venture-backed companies led by women have 12% higher annual revenues and women-run high-tech startups fail less often than those run by men.
TCVN is proud to bring together four extraordinary women who have succeeded at all levels. They have ignored the data and built companies from concept to hyper-growth to exit. Join us for this enlightening event.
