Event description

Description

Meet the creators. The engineers. The artists. The people who are building at the intersection of arts and technology, right here in Waterloo Region.

Join us for an evening of virtual reality, 3d printing, film, and artificial intelligence.

Enjoy food and drinks from Patent Social, Kinkaku Izakaya, and Together We're Bitter, while you listen to an artificial intelligence-driven DJ. You heard us: prepare to be serenaded by a computer!

Acclaimed local artist, Jennifer Gough, will be creating live at the event, and her amazing artwork will be offered through silent auction.

All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery.

Our hosts:

Brenda Halloran, Chair of the Board, Startup Canada; President, Trillium Innovation Venture Group; former Mayor of Waterloo

(Brenda has too many amazing titles and roles to list them all here. It would take the entire page. Trust us, she's amazing.)

Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery presents critically-acclaimed exhibitions that challenge ideas and perceptions of the definitions of art, craft, and design today. The current exhibition is Embodiment, a 30-year retrospective of ceramic sculpture by Governor General's Award-winning artist Susan Low-Beer.
