Meet the Broadcaster with POV’s
Executive Director/Executive Producer Justine Nagan
Wednesday, March 1st | 6:30-8:30pm
Films in the POV series are known for their intimacy, unforgettable storytelling, and for placing a face on critical social issues. Their dynamic upcoming slate features acclaimed films, from 2017 Oscar nominees and short list contenders like Joe's Violin, 4.1 Miles, and Hooligan Sparrow, to Emmy, DuPont, and Peabody award-winners such as No Le Digas a Nadie and more. POV's recent season on PBS highlighted films like Tough Love, Iris, The Edge of Silence, Art and Craft, and Out in the Night. This distinguished series stands as the longest running showcase for independent non-fiction films. WMM is pleased to welcome Justine Nagan, the new Executive Director and Executive Producer of POV in conversation. This is a great opportunity to discuss all things new and relevant about the award-winning series POV and America ReFramed, and learn how to submit your film for consideration!
