Description

Rev. Dr. Theresa Chatman surrendered to the call to the gospel ministry in February 2001. She was ordained as a Baptist minister under Bishop A. Tim Chatman in October 2002 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Ailey, Georgia. She was appointed as youth overseer for Global Impact Ministries, and youth pastor under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop A. Tim Chatman, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Ailey, Georgia.

In 2010, she completed a two-year program in Urban Youth Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary Youth Institute, Pasadena, California. Rev. Dr. Chatman has served as a youth worker for over 25 years.

She is married and she and her husband have two adult children and one school aged child. She is an educator and has been in the education profession for more than 18 years.

She was college educated through Brewton Parker College where she obtained an Associates of Arts, an Associates of Applied Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Furthermore, she earned a Master of Education with a major in Special Education Leadership from Capella University in August 2015.

Rev. Dr. Chatman loves preaching and teaching the Word of God and she spends her free time reading, writing, and enjoying her family. Much of the work she does in ministry involves youth ministry where she facilitates Bible Studies and plans and organizes events for youth of Mt. Moriah.

Her aspiration was to have her first published book available in the Fall of 2017 and it is so! This book was written to empower women through her own life story of struggles, failures, and successes. Don't miss your opportunity to meet this talented and anointed woman of God!
