The Chicago Alliance is planning an independently organized TED event, TEDx Chicago Alliance (x = independently organized TED event) ***
We are looking for TED Heads who are ready to give back to the Chicago community. This project takes a village, where we work together, get to know each other, and pay it forward. No experience with previous TED events is required. If you are interested in learning more about TED events, click here to get an overview of TED guidelines. If you are not familar with TED Talks, please watch a few videos at TED.com before attending this meeting. Bring your open mind and collaborative spirit along!

*** Amy Segami, professional member of National Speakers Association, Board member of the NSA Illinois Chapter, and Distinguished Toastmaster, is also known as the TEDx expert in Chicagoland. She will share her experience and vision for this project. As the founder of TEDxIIT, the longest running independently organized TED event in Chicago since 2010, Amy will provide an overview and guidelines based on her experience. She was invited to speak at the inaugural TEDxPeachtree in 2009, attend TEDGlobal 2015 and TED Summit 2016. Her webinar on “How To TED Your Way to the Global Platform” broke the attendance record. You are invited to attend an informal Networking Event for The Chicago Alliance, to be held on the third (3rd) Friday of each month, starting on March 18, 2016.
To see a list of Alliance Group members, scroll to the bottom of this page. If you are a current member of any of the organization on the list, you are already part of the Alliance Group. There is no membership fee for The Chicago Alliance currently.
To attend this event, you'll pay a $5 registration fee and purchase your own beverages and food. See below for details. Registration closes by 2 pm on the day of the event. Absolutely no refund.
Meet The Alliance
Enrich Your Professional Network, Build Alliances, and Share Leads
Join us at the Metropolitan Club, a private membership organization, located on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower. The evening will be dedicated to informal networking among group members. Build your professional network with us. A cash bar and complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be available.
This event is the first in a new series of events designed to inspire Chicago-area professionals to form closer ties and learn more about the opportunities available to those affiliated with Alliance member groups.
