The Red Pump Project - Atlanta invites you to join us for an informational meet and greet on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, at 255 Tapas Lounge.

Atlanta is one of the 5 cities where Red Pump is currently active and we're gearing up for a very active 2013. We need your help in ensuring a successful year! This will be a casual networking experience in a social atmosphere. While you're there, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet the Red Pump Atlanta Ambassador Skyy Banks
  • Learn how you can get involved with The Red Pump Project
  • Learn more about our 2013 programming, including national and local initiatives
  • Share your ideas on involvement with Red Pump Atlanta

Be sure to come out as we will also commemorate National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (February 7) with quick facts and activities.

The Red Pump Project

The Red Pump Project® is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. We empower, educate, and motivate action by boldly driving conversation online and offline around HIV prevention and issues related to sexual and reproductive health. We use the Red Pump as a symbol of empowerment to represent the strength and courage of women affected by HIV/AIDS.

Red Pump believes that if HIV affects one, it affects us all. We use a powerful symbol for a powerful cause. The incorporation of fashion into the message of HIV prevention is our contribution as we hope to show that Awareness is Always in Style!
