San Francisco, CA
Itching to travel and two weeks of corporate vacation just isn't enough?
At a transitional point in your life and trying to figure out 'what next'?
Let's kick off Spring 2013 with some Career Break conversation! Come join our San Francisco Host of Meet, Plan, Go!, Ted Beatie, for this casual meetup to share your travel stories and get excited about making future travel plans!
This is a casual get together to talk about upcoming 2013 travels! For those of you in the planning stage, this is a great chance for you to meet like minded people with similar career break goals and get questions answered about your travel planning. And if you are a career break veteran - then we welcome your expertise and the inspiration that you can provide.
Come join us on April 10th in the Grotto at the Sports Basement!
Appetizers and beer/wine will be provided, so you can toast to your plans with fellow adventurers. And as one of our premier SF partners, Sports Basement is pleased to offer attendees a 10% discount on all in-store purchases during the night of the event, in order to outfit you for your next big trip!
ABOUT YOUR HOST
Ted Beatie was born with the soul of an adventurer and is happiest when he’s off the beaten track. His favorite places include the Sahara desert, 100 feet underwater among the coral reefs of Fiji, and Burning Man. While he calls himself a diver, firedancer, aerial acrobat, technologist and cyclist, his true passion is showing people a hidden side of the world, through his photography and writing. He is active on Facebook and Twitter, and maintains a travel blog and photo gallery at The Pocket Explorer. He is also the managing editor for Rolf Potts' Vagabonding Blog, and curates Vagabonding Case Studies of real people going on, currently on, or returned from long term travel. His latest adventure is learning how to be a father to a precocious 8-month-old girl, named for a Moroccan desert sunrise.
