ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Maura Bradley is a registered adult and children’s yoga teacher as well as a Certified Mindfulness Instructor. Maura is the owner of Bee You Kids Yoga & Mindfulness, LLC, which she founded in 2015 and the former owner/operator of Bee You Kids Yoga studio, which was located in Manasquan, NJ.

Maura completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification with YogaWorks in 2011. She then went on to study with Tari Prinster in New York City and completed Levels 1 & 2 of Yoga for Cancer Teacher Training.

After years of working with cancer patients, Maura was introduced to kids yoga while teaching at a summer camp for children affected by cancer. This was such an amazing experience for her that she decided to enroll in the Little Flower Yoga kids teacher training immediately. Maura completed all 3 Levels of the LFY training and holds her 95-hour children's yoga teacher certification (RCYT).

Since then, Maura has taught thousands of children in weekly yoga and mindfulness classes, summer camps, schools and specialty workshops.

In addition to owning and operating Bee You Kids Yoga Studio, which is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS), Maura has also written and developed a curriculum and leads her own Bee You Yoga Kids Yoga Teacher Training. The Bee You Yoga Kids Teacher Training program is a registered 95-hour training with Yoga Alliance. Through this training, Maura has trained hundreds of adults to teach kids yoga and mindfulness to children of all ages.

Maura recently completed the Mindful Schools Year-Long 300-hour Certification program and is now a Certified Mindfulness Instructor.

Currently, Maura teaches kids yoga and mindfulness in local studios and schools. She also works with local school administrators to offer mindfulness programs to the students as well as Professional Development programming for teachers and school staff.
